Nothing can keep you bound

Nothing can keep you bound. John 8.36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. Mark chapter 10 verse 46 through 52 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called and they called. And they called the blind man saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise, he calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, what wilt thou that I should do unto thee?

The blind man said unto him, Lord, that Might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and follow Jesus in the way.

What lessons can we learn from Blind Bartimaeus do not get distracted. To be determined, be willing to be directed by God. Blind Bartimaeus did not get distracted. He was determined to receive his sight, and not be distracted when he cried out to Jesus. The people said hold thy peace. Be quiet, hush, but that did not distract him. Jesus was near, but he could not see him. He was blind, but he knew he was near enough that he could hear, Jesus is near you. As you read this, all you have to do is call out to Jesus. Have mercy, save me, heal me. What do you need Jesus to do for you? It is time to call out to Jesus today. Stop waiting, stop just sitting.
